A snowy armageddon was predicted to hit the American East Coast last night. New York even went on lock down from 11pm and the only vehicles allowed on the roads were snowploughs, tow trucks and emergency vehicles.
A snowstorm did indeed hit the East Coast ad New York, but by looking at the photos below and the live cams from Times Square it doesn't look as if the predicted tow to three feet of snow dropped.
