Formula One 2012: German Grand Prix
The qualifying sessions of the German Grand Prix were a wash out. Torrential rains even caused the Rainmeister Schumacher to crash his car heavily. The race, however, was a dry as can be. Fernando Alonso started from P1 and never lost that spot. Vettel and Button tried their hardest and although Alonso never had more than 5 seconds they simply could not catch him. With two laps to go Vettel passed Button for second place, but he left the track while finishing his move and was later penalised with a 20 second penalty, dropping him from 2nd to 5th. Lewis Hamilton's 100th Grand Prix was short-lived. He punctured on the second lap and retired about 3/4 into the race.
