Champions League Final 2012: Chelsea vs Bayern Munich

Last night Roman Abramovich finally won his Champion League Cup. After 8 years of trying and spending nearly a billion dollars on Chelsea Football Club his players and coach gave him what he has always craved, to be the best football team in Europe. During the final in Munich against home team Bayern Munich the German team tried to find a way through the parked bus in front of the Chelsea goal. The succeeded once during the 90 minutes when Mueller scored, only to give it all away 5 minutes later when Chelsea's lone forward Didier Drogba scored with a header. Arjen Robben had the chance to win it for Bayern, but his penalty was saved by the excellent Cech. At the end of 120 minutes of play it all came down to penalties and Chelsea beat Bayern and can call themselves the best team in Europe. Experts always call wins deserved and the best team won in the end, but as a neutral I can we can say that is a load of bs. Last night oil dollars and anti-football won the day just as it did against Barcelona in the semis and all the other teams Chelsea faced this European campaign. A team with such players should not have to resort to the type of played displayed for the last 3 months. Let's hope next year the beautiful game gets restored to where it should be.
